The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a wide array of heroes, and a thrilling plot showcasing divine entities, evil spirits, and malevolent powers expanding in power within the city.

Note: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of characters who will separate from the primary party to embark on their separate journey, apart from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team includes Teor (played by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

With an extensive roster, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Planners, and Questers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for players who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might seem mismatched, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

First, the group understands precisely where to go next after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, assaulting the character, and stealing all the powerful objects to sell off.

The traitor then settled his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of the city, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the companion and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the northern area and advises that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • However, their status as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the team enter locations they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are sought by the authorities that control the setting for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The rogue and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the family.

This results in them no alternative but to head to the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

According to the recent installment’s follow-up content, we learn that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the rest of the players to form the Questers and Strategists parties.

Viewers can look forward to learning which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s final introductory chapter, released on October 24.
